what a nice way to kick on my day...goin to bed at 5.00am in the morning yesterday due to busy watching the Incredible Hulk ( ok..i know i'm kind of not getting up-to-date...it was a long long movie..i know..)..and playing FIFA till 5am..(world class level versus arsenal is damn hard..took me a long time to win..but i WIN finally..yay..)..
as so..i expected that i would not be able to wake up today morning and or even woke up in zombie state..still i managed to woke up at 7.30am thanks to my housemate waking up call..coz u know why???
It is the day to go IMU for the HIV student attaching programme ..what a very nice event i muz say..
goin up UPM buses and an approx 35 minutes journey set us off to one of the most famous private university worldwide..International MEdical University, IMU..hei..the malay version is even more geng..University Perubatan ANTARABANGSA..wow...i guess those fellow studying medic in there muz be super great and super genius and super proud of themselves coz they are able to study in one of the most greatest uni in the world..still the cost to study medic there is the most expensive one..that's what i heard...they muz be producing excellent doc..
and still..the moment we reached there..we were amazed all the posters from the posters competition and i was really amazed by quite a few posters send by UPM..by my coursemate!! they are really so great and talented..i shud have joined..haiz..i thought they wanted us to draw..but besides of drawing, u can also send in editted pic..wow.so nice and so amazed by their work.so proud of them..and one of them won the third place..getting rm 500!!!..and another one get "good creativity" and get rm 1000!!!!...now i really hate myself ( slapping myself..)
the event kick off in auditorium 2 of IMU..a very grand auditorium..and the mc is the fly fm mc..the indian or negro guy..sometimes we saw in 8 quickie one..he was really funny..and together with his 2 colleague..3 of them are the mc of the day..
and only 4 uni participated.mainly IMU, UM, UPM and UiTm..
we been exposed to some background n stories of HIV and even got one MO from sarawak kuching hospital actually came all the way to share his experience bout his needle prick injury and how he actually treated with HAART..
ok..before i continue with the agenda..let me talk something bout aids and Hiv and wat i have learn today..
today my tears actually rolled down my eyes when i watch one of the video prepared by UM..I can't believe myself as well..but to those who know me..u know that i am a very sympathy guy n when it comes to this kind of thing..i juz can't help it..so tears actually rolled down my eyes..and thank god it was dark and no one saw it..
todays content of event are mostly on discrimation on HIV postive individual..basically..u muz get infected by the HIV first..and once u are HIV postive...u r not considered as AIDS yet..after goin through a latent period with development of several stages of sickness..then only u r categorized as AIDS..and when ur immune system CD4 goes below than 200..HAART is started ..
basically..hiv positive indivual are nothing but juz the same of us..despite of social stigma of avoiding and isolating them..some of them..of course.they acquired them themselves..but some like newborn that are born with it..or someone with blood transfusion error..it is not their fault and they do not deserve to be treated with discrimination..
really pity on HIV and aids positive individuall..now i'm considering of establising a society of AIDS in UPM..after stimulated by the NGO and also those crusAIDSer from IMU..will consider bout it..
still we muz not discrimize and isolate them..
after those movie presentation is the poster ceremony award and buffet lunch..what a perfect event
and more one..i finally meet jessie d..dun get me wrong..not my junior, jessie lim..but my friend jessie teh from UM...i met her earlier this year when UM visited UPM and ever since we are so friend and close to each other..
thank god i din plan to skip of goin coz she mention that " i will be so dissapointed if u never come",..thank god i showed up
upon arrival we had a funny time calling each other and finding each other..but only to realise she sat oppostie of me only..after the event.both of us had lunch together and we had a very nice conversation..even funnier when i'm leaving ..i asked her to took a photo with me..she left her food to take a photo to me and when she return her food is gone coz the cleaner had took it away thinking that it is an unfinish plate..haha..sorry jessie..really paiseh..but i know u alr eat finish d.dun jia jia,..haha

and very happy that i get to learn more bout HIV today
